I would guess most Americans are unaware of what radical Islam has done to certain cities in Europe, like Copenhagen, Amsterdam and London, but this man is certainly familiar.

I might not agree with every word, but at least someone in Western
culture has the balls to stand up and talk straight about radical Islamofaschism.

Although I have posted in the past my disdain for Twitter, that did not keep me from signing up for an account and even enabling the ability to post to Twitter from my address bar. Once I watched the video below, I finally "got" it. Maybe I will turn into a Twitter Bug now. I am uber busy, and keeping people posted in this manner really can work. Now I just need some friends who really care about whether I just drank coffee or cleaned the toilet. ; P

My [Java Jane's] coffee addiction needs no excuse, but since the fine folks at Lifehack and lifehacker decided to offer one, here goes nothing: You're addicted to coffee, and people have asked you to drop the habit. Why should you? Weblog Lifehack tells die-hard coffee addicts that it's just fine to stay addicted. After all, you got hooked on coffee because you wanted increased mental performance. Drinking coffee improves your concentration, alertness and staves off a tired mind. For me, work comes to a halt when I'm missing any of the above, especially concentration or alertness. Ten or twenty minutes after a cup of coffee, I can be back to work for a few more hours. Similarly, the article argues that coffee improves your short-term memory, helps you socialize, and also apparently reduces disease. Why haven't you kicked the habit? Netvibes Opens Ginger Release to the Public

I really like Netvibes, but for a while I stopped using it as my start page, as I felt the "corriander" release was becoming a bit antiquated and slow loading. I have just started the migration to the "ginger" release, and am hoping to make Netvibes my start page once again. Do you use Netvibes? Have you beta tested or migrated to the "ginger" release? What do you think about it? If you use PageFlakes or iGoogle, why do you use it and what do you like about it compared to Netvibes?

How did you create your username for VOX? What influenced your decision?

I own/program an online 80s Retro Radio station, and my "DJ" handle is "Java Jane". I wanted something different from my station "handle" or username yet something semi-related. Thus Retro for the 80s flashback aspect plus Maven, because I'm supposed to be the alternative 80s "guru", as it's my personal music archive (which proudly contains many rare and downright obscure alt.80s songs, although the station is a mix between popular retro/new wave/synthpop and the more obscure stuff). That's it...
