I love the Shabby Princess's digital layouts. Her layouts resemble my style (although hers are much better) and are beautiful in their simplicity and an inspiration for both my traditional and digital layouts. Right now I'm working on some current photos taken with my Canon digital camera using digital scrapbooking. I am also trying to finish my ages old baby scrapbook for my daughter who is now nearly 9. It has taken me forever to work on it, as I went through a divorce (initiated by me) when my children were very young and it's painful to look back to a time of innocence and a traditional family structure. It's funny to look back at the pages I started all those years ago and see how my style and the art of scrapping has evolved. It's amazing how much is now available in just shy of a decade.
Anyway, I've finally just come to terms with the fact that I have to get mounds of traditional prints put into scrapbooks and life is what is, and my children deserve their keepsakes to look back on for posterity, and I need to get over myself. So once again, as I get some time and inspiration here and there, I'm down at my scrap table and feeling good about creating. As much as I enjoy digital scrapping, actually working with paper and tactile items gives so much more satisfaction. I find my self combining both digital and traditional scrapping, for added versatility and style.
