Although I have posted in the past my disdain for Twitter, that did not keep me from signing up for an account and even enabling the ability to post to Twitter from my address bar. Once I watched the video below, I finally "got" it. Maybe I will turn into a Twitter Bug now. I am uber busy, and keeping people posted in this manner really can work. Now I just need some friends who really care about whether I just drank coffee or cleaned the toilet. ; P

Netvibes Opens Ginger Release to the Public

I really like Netvibes, but for a while I stopped using it as my start page, as I felt the "corriander" release was becoming a bit antiquated and slow loading. I have just started the migration to the "ginger" release, and am hoping to make Netvibes my start page once again. Do you use Netvibes? Have you beta tested or migrated to the "ginger" release? What do you think about it? If you use PageFlakes or iGoogle, why do you use it and what do you like about it compared to Netvibes?

celebrity look alike

Maybe back in my youth (I'm in my mid 40's as you can see from my current picture) or the good old days when I was a size 0 I looked closer, but not now, but flattering to put in that company, even if it's for face shape alone. Notwithstanding, I'm not displeased with who the face recognition software picked. All I can say is "don't I wish". LOL Shout out to Budd, aka Hermione who reminded me this site existed by his post!

I'm going to intstall this tonight. It's in Beta form right now, but looks really cool. You can share anything on the web to your contacts email, IM, MySpace or FaceBook and you can post to your MySpace as well. Although I'm not a big IM user and I have other extensions that can send things to people via email, this definitely is worth a spin and a blog review down the road.
